Hello girls!
Today I will tell you about the cosmetic hits and misses I encountered in the last few months. My opinion about some products may surprise you, so please be understanding. I tested the cosmetics in all possible ways. Some have worked well, others, unfortunately, did not. Enjoy reading!
Yves Saint Laurent Volume Effet Faux Cils Star Collector Mascara
I thought that this mascara would perfectly lengthen and thicken my eyelashes. I couldn’t be more wrong. The wand has densely arranged bristles which accumulate too much cosmetic. What is the effect? The product dries and runs out quickly. What is more, with such a brush, you cannot do a precise make-up. Furthermore, Volume Effet Faux Cils Star Collector Mascara has a runny consistency. If you apply too much, it stains your eyelids, damaging the eyeshadows you already applied, Also, it becomes dry and falls in flakes on your cheeks. The only advantage of this product is its high pigmentation. The packaging looks nice – golden with black stars.
Zoeva Sweet Glamour Eyeshadow Palette
This is a set of pastel eyeshadows in surprising colours: mint, blue, violet, pink, white, canary yellow. I like this palette because of the mineral components, easy application and durability. Zoeva eyeshadows give a matte or iridescent finish. How do I use Sweet Glamor? I apply a base to the eyelids and wait until it becomes dry. With a soft brush, I apply the eyeshadows and blend it well. I finish my make-up with black eyeliner and mascara (of course not the one I described above).
Clinique Serum Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate
The moisturising serum from Clinique looks nice and takes care of your skin pretty well. The manufacturer ensures that the cosmetics intensively regenerates and reduces the visibility of wrinkles. After prolonged use of this product, unfortunately, I did not notice such effects. Clinique Serum only moisturises my complexion, and it also works well as a make-up base. Will I buy it again? I doubt it, especially since there are other creams available on the market (Clinique serum has 48 ml) which hydrate the skin better.
Korres Lavender Blossom Shower Gel
This is my first shower gel that cost so much. I was tempted to purchase it by natural composition and good reviews on the Net. Lavender Blossom contains (among others) vitamins E and C, zinc, aloe vera and antioxidants. Korres shower gel strengthens, hydrates and cleanses the skin thoroughly. It lathers pretty well and has a nice scent. One bottle contains 250 ml of the cosmetic.
