today’s entry will be a colourful one because it’s going to concern not one, not two but the whole eyeshadow palette. I’m going to tell you how to choose the one that will suit you most, the one that will match your expectations and answer your needs.

This post is dedicated to all the women who, firstly, don’t know how to match eyeshadows to their complexion and colour of eyes, and secondly, to those who are ready to invest their money in a set of high quality eyeshadows. How to buy a good eyeshadow palette?

1. Hot or Cold?

Probably you’ve already know your beauty type and you can match the shades to the colour of the iris. If not, bear in mind that there is a full range of neutral shades which compose with each eye colour well. These colours are called nude and can be described as all shades of bronzes, beiges and olive greens mixed with greys.

2. Matte or Pearl?

Matte eyeshadows are an absolute must-have because they are appropriate for every occasion. However, your palette doesn’t necessarily have to focus on matte shades only. There are palettes that are a combination of pearl, metallic shades and matte ones; and this is the option I recommend to you as your first eyeshadow palette choice. Thanks to this kind of a palette you will be able to do various types of make-up, beginning from classic, through romantic and vampy.

3. Small or Big?

The devil is in the detail, therefore while choosing a make-up palette, especially if you want it to serve you long, pay your attention to the basis weight the eyeshadows have. Many cosmetic brands want to meet their clients’ demands and, with having the make-up tricks in mind, they produce the palettes where eyeshadows are placed in bigger and smaller compartments. The bigger ones are mostly bright, nude eyeshadows (both matte and pearl) because these are always used while applying eye make-up. Also, these shadows can pose a base for darker shades, they highlight the inner corner of the eyes and are frequently used as a highlighter. Sometimes, we can also use them to shape our face.

4. Important or unimportant?
