Personally, I consider durability and skin-conditioning features as the most essential when it comes to makeup and skincare. Therefore, I have decided to try out whether the new Rimmel foundation Lasting Finish Breathable really works as well as the producer promises. Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable – TEST!

I have been testing out the product for about a month. I tried different combinations, for instance, with a makeup primer, with a moisturising cream, onto bare skin, etc. Nevertheless, I have always made sure that the complexion was exfoliated regularly and delivered the proper level of hydration. For the application of the Rimmel foundation, I used a makeup sponge -Beauty Blender or Real Techniques. Next, I set everything with a powder of the same series. What I like about this product is the liquid yet light formula and the unique applicator – it resembles the one found in lip glosses but bigger;). This way, I was able to apply an even layer of the product all over the face, and did not have to worry whether my face looks cakey.

How did Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable work for me?

It did not last on my face for 25hours, not even 12, however, it l look great throughout the day at work without any touch-ups. What’s more, the product did not irritate me nor clogged pores and that is a very important feature for me – the owner of a combination skin with the tendency to blemishes. The formula is really light, resistant to moist and sweat. From the range of 6 available cosmetics, I have chosen the lightest one, but it oxygenated after a few hours. Luckily, it did not accumulate in the fine lines and it didn’t emphasize any dry skin patches. According to the producer, the foundation is recommended for the summertime – I will test it out as well.

What about the composition of the Rimmel foundation?

The composition is very very long. It contains both sensitizing substances as well as skin conditioning ingredients. In Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable we have, for example, antioxidants, moisturizing ingredients (urea), two UV SPF 20 filters, emollients, talc and fragrances.
