Desert sands, golden treasures, hot air and precious jewels. That’s how I would describe the new eyeshadow palette from Huda Beauty called Desert Dusk. I instantly fell head over heels in love with the product. Why? You’ll find the answer in today’s post. 

How does the Desert Dusk eyeshadow palette look like?

It is quite a large cosmetic with a mirror and 18 shades inside. They will help you create glittery, creamy-matte, or metallic makeups. It is a product designed for courageous girls who are not afraid of using purple, red, bronze or orange shades, also those that include glistering golden and silver particles. Desert Dusk by Huda Beauty eyeshadows are highly pigmented and provide intense eye makeup. In my opinion, there is no point in applying one layer of the product or gently covering the eyelids, because the effect simply will not be nice.

Huda Beauty Desert Dusk – application

The eyeshadows are to be applied dry with a brush or a fingertip on to a properly prepared skin. The ones with matte, satin or metallic finish will be a great base for the glittery shadow. Use a brush to apply the last one not to get your fingers dirty. Also, there is no need to use any fixing or setting sprays – the eyeshadows give a lasting effect and do not fall off at all.

Who will Desert Dusk be suitable for?

The colours of the eyeshadows are suitable for every colour of the iris and all skin types. Women with blue, bronze, grey and green eyes will benefit from it the most. They will be able to use the purple, bronze, peach and gold shades. However, in my opinion, such makeup will be most flattering for those with a dark complexion and dark eyes.
