Hey, girls!
We all like dancing but none of us likes a morning headache (hangover), dark circles around the eyes and swollen feet. That is why I decided to tell you about the ways for skin repair after a party. Not that I checked them out myself…
How does alcohol influence our body?
Alcohol does not only harm our health but also weakens the condition of the skin and hair. Together with alcohol, toxins get into the blood system. They lead to the widening of blood vessels. That is why our face – especially nose and cheeks – is red and swollen. Liquids gather in the lymphatic system and it is really hard to remove them. If you have a hangover, coffee and salty food will not make a difference. Soothing camomile, green tea or eyebright compresses will bring amazing effects. Tap a soothing and moisturising cream around your eyes. Use lightweight products that will not weigh your tired and swollen skin down. Alcohol and cigarette smoke make eyes red. You can quickly restore the beauty of your look with eye drops.
Nicotine harms your skin, heart and lungs!
There is no way you do not breathe in some cigarette smoke at least once while being on a party. It is not only harmful to smokers. So-called passive smokers suffer as well. Smokers are exposed to hypoxia, irritation, inflammation, changed skin tone. They struggle with wrinkles (especially, around the lips) and discolorations more often. Cigarettes contain lots of harmful substances (carbon monoxide, heavy metals) that destroy skin cells. Be careful: the more often and longer you stay in smoky rooms, the more exposed you are to serious diseases. If you have no willpower and cannot give up on a cigarette packet, use moisturising, brightening and firming cosmetics.
What can you do to keep your skin beautiful?
Cleanse the skin thoroughly to restore its beautiful looks. Use mild products that will not irritate the skin that is already swollen. Creamy foams and milks with vitamins and micro-nutrients will come in useful. You may as well use shine-boosting and pore shrinking clay. If you want to fight free radicals, apply products with vitamin A, C and E that deliver elasticity and moisture. However, the easiest way is moisturising the skin with cosmetics including hyaluronic acid, amino acids, peptides or glycerol.
Are you planning on partying? First, prepare a lifesaving set: aspirin, skin products and a comfy bed.
