It’s no secret that mascara is always my priority when it comes to makeup. Whether I’m getting ready for a big night out or a walk with a friend, my lashes need to be perfectly defined. I feel that my eyelashes complement my overall look best. That’s why, today I come with a post I hope you will find extremely helpful. I have chosen five mascaras that have not disappointed me so far!
TOP 5 mascaras you should know!
Let me start by saying that the choice of mascara is important for me, mainly because my lashes are quite problematic. They are undoubtedly the longest and also not the thickest either.
So it is important to me that the mascara I choose does not overburden them additionally, and that it gives satisfactory results at the same time.
Meet 5 products that, for me, are unbeatable!
1. Nanolash Mascara
The first place goes to my firm favorite – the Nanolash mascara. I can’t hide the fact that I’ve been using it for a long time now and I’m just as happy with it every time. The Nanolash mascara comes in a 10-milliliter size which is strongly competitive compared to other mascaras. In addition, I have to admit that the effect is noticeable after applying the first coat, and by adding more, it can be boosted even further.
I will point out that the Nanolash mascara comes with a perfectly shaped brush. It is made of silicone and separates the lashes precisely. I had no problem reaching the shortest lashes in the corner of the eye. The durability of the product is also satisfactory. It lasted the whole day without any smudging or crumbling.
Remember, when you go to the brand’s website, there are two versions of the Nanolash mascara to choose from:
- Nanolash Volume Up Mascara – a thickening mascara;
- Nanolash Length & Curl Mascara – a lengthening and curling mascara.
So you can choose the option that suits your needs best. It seems that a variety like that is also a huge advantage of this product.
2. Lashcode Mascara
Lashcode Mascara has both lengthening and thickening properties. I have used it for a long time now and still have no reservations about it. Let me start with the brush. It is very well-shaped and made of high-quality silicone. I didn’t have any problems separating the lashes without getting my eyelids stained in the process.
I also have no reservations when it comes to the great durability of this mascara. I did my makeup as usual in the morning before going to work, and when I got home, I didn’t notice any flaking at all. It also did not crumble or smudge when exposed to slightly higher temperatures.
3. Collistar Art Design Mascara
In the next place, I decided to place the Collistar Art Design mascara. This product is designed to make the lashes look longer as well as to give them more volume. The fact is that I achieved the effect only after applying a second coat of mascara. However, this may be because my lashes are naturally quite thin and short.
I can’t say anything bad about the brush. I had no problem reaching the shorter lashes. As for the durability of the mascara, on the other hand, I was hoping for a bit more. Admittedly, the mascara looks good for most of the day, although I noticed it started to flake a little in the evening.
4. Mac Mineralize Multi-Effect Lash
Mac Mineralize Multi-Effect Lash Mascara is another product I think is worth looking into. This is a mascara with a lengthening effect and it has worked quite well for me. I can’t complain about the effectiveness of the product. I was also positively surprised by the brush which turned out to be properly shaped. I had no problem reaching the short lashes in the corners.
However, Mac’s Mineralize Multi-Effect Lash mascara also has its drawbacks. The biggest one seemed to me to be the durability of the product. Unfortunately, just a few hours after the application, I noticed some flaky mascara particles. Moreover, on rainy days, the mascara simply smudged, creating a “panda eyes effect.” So there is much room for improvement in this aspect.
5. Isadora Flashing Volume Mascara
The next product I think is worth considering is the mascara from Isadora. Isadora Flashing Volume is a mascara that is supposed to lengthen and thicken the lashes. The fact is that I was able to achieve this effect with just one coat. I also didn’t have any major problems with the product’s durability. It lasted quite well all day at work, however, I did not avoid some flaking by the evening.
The brush, however, turned out to be a big drawback. It is extremely short and has fine and stiff bristles. This made operating it extremely problematic, especially if I wanted to coat my lashes in the corners of the eyes.
Have you guys already tested any of the mascaras mentioned above? If so, make sure to share your feedback with me! If not, then test them and see if the mascaras I recommended proved to be the best option for you too!
